Safety practiced and prepared for in all sporting activities means you get to practice you’re sports for a long time! MASA pride’s itself for hosting Free Flight First Aid courses and emergency parachute repacking seminars. This June we are planning to host both a First Aid/CPR course and an Emergency Parachute Repacking clinic. Dates of both will be announced in April. They will be held in Chewelah.
Along with our parachute packing we’re preparing for a practice tree extraction with local Chewelah first responders. Tree “landings” by paragliders and hang gliders can happen. If/when they do there are procedures which can be followed to help keep the pilot safe and soon on the ground.
